Jamestown is a small picturesque town in Newport County, Rhode Island. Jamestown is home to approximately 5,400 residents on Conanicut Island-the second largest island in Narragansett Bay. Residents and visitors can also take a ride on the Jamestown/Newport Ferry which sails through Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor. The ferry allows passengers to get on and off as they please, and visit destinations for historical tours, shopping, sightseeing, restaurants and museums.
