Burrillville is a rural town located in Providence County in the northwest corner of Rhode Island. Incorporated in 1806, this quiet town is rich with history dating back to the Industrial Revolution. Its multiple villages are named after the original mills that stood there. Preserved historic buildings such as the Assembly Theater, built during the Great Depression in 1933, and the Bridgeton Schoolhouse, built in 1897, are still standing.

Hikers coming from the Buck Hill Management Area can view the historic obelisk tri-state marker where Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut meet. Spring Lake Beach and Arcade is also open from June until Labor Day and is home to the "world's oldest" penny arcade.
