Lincoln is a lovely northern city in close proximity to Providence and with easy access to Massachusetts, but the town's suburban/rural fabric has been maintained.
Impressions/Character
The State bike paths continue along in Lincoln on the old Blackstone River Canal. There are several areas which exist for the pure enjoyment of the area's rustic charm, including the Quinville Conservation Area, Holiday Drive Conservation Area, and North Central Conservation Area. On the other end of the recreational spectrum is the Twin River Casino which offers famous names in entertainment, dinning, and nightlife. Lincoln Woods is renowned for its gaming fields, picnicking, and swimming areas, also providing kayak rentals to visitors. Large new homes are in many neighborhoods.

Lincoln is made up of 8 villages: Albion, Allendale, Fairlawn (also in Pawtucket), Lime Rock, Lonsdale (also in Cumberland), Louisquisset (also in North Providence), Manville and Saylesville.
