South Kingstown

South Kingstown is a town in Washington County, Rhode Island. The town has 14 villages andis home to roughly 30,600 residents. With over ten miles of beaches, South Kingstown is a popular tourist destination in the summer.

South Kingstown is lively year­round being the home to the University of Rhode Island. URI is in the village of Kingston and is home to the Thomas M. Ryan Center that hosts a variety of events from concerts to sports to circuses.

Residents have an easy time getting around with the Kingston Train Station. The train station also has the Rhode Island Railroad Museum which is open to the public.
