Before joining RPL in 1998, she was a client-oriented multitasker in restaurant management and carries an abiding love for our local food culture and community. Today, she spends her free moments taking advantage of Rhode Island's plentiful natural resources. Sailing and spending time at the beach are among her favorite ways to relax, along with exploring the area's flourishing arts scene. Barbara, her kids, Ruby and Nina, and her husband, Mike, also enjoy time cheering on New England's sports teams.
